Aleksis Richard Rurik Rautanen (07-03-1891 - 02-02-1970) Finnish chess composer

The Finnish chess composer Aleksis R. Rautanen (7 March 1891-2 February 1970) created around 500 endgame studies and moremover chess problems. He published a selection of 30 chess compositions in 1929 under the title 30 Shakkiproblemaa; the chess book was published in Finnish and Esperanto. He valued problems with chess provocation.
