Anatole Mouterde (Lyon 1874 - 1942 or 1943) 

The French chess composer composed around 100 endgame studies between 1912 and 1924 and numerous chess problems of various kinds. He was one of the founding members of the French problemist union UPF.

Chess player and chess composer born in Lyon distinguished by its original style of play and as problematic was very eclectic alternating between orthodox and fey problems.

He composed about a hundred chess studies that stand out for their brief ideas, which have sometimes been recreated or amplified by other composers.
