Anatoly Zinchuk composed direct mates, endgame studies or heterodox chess problems.
A long article written by Evgeny Zinchuk about his father Anatoly and including biographical information and photos was published in "Problemist Ukrainy" 4(34)/2012.

"Excellent Ukrainian composer from the city of Kanev, who settled in Kiev and was a professor of economics at a technical school.

He began composing at the age of 20 and in the middle of 1988, when he was a candidate for Sports Master of the USSR,

His production was of 548 composition, and had obtained in several contests 6 first prizes, 8 seconds, 3 thirds and 1 fourth prize; 21 honorable mentions and 64 recommended mentions.

But Professor Zinchuk composed problems, many times awarded, and collaborated with the writing of the book of V.M. Archakov "First steps in the composition chess", published in Kiev in 1987."
