Shot dead on the film set

Johann Ofner (†) was due to appear in a music video by Australian hip-hop band "Bliss n Eso" on January 22. However, the 28-year-old was shot dead during filming on the set in Brisbane.

As reported by "Seven News", Ofner was shot dead in a bar on set. Firearms are said to have been used during the shoot for the music video, but the extent to which these are now connected to the death of the Australian stuntman is still unclear, according to police. 

Actor and fitness model

Ofner not only worked as a stuntman and actor, but also posed as a fitness model. His girlfriend Kati Garnett has been posting moving messages on her Instagram account since the death of her boyfriend: "Today the love of my life was taken from me and I still can't believe it. I don't know what to do without you, the best people are taken from us. You were a true angel. I love you so much, forever and ever".

His mother, Maria Ofner, has spoken about the life and fate of her son Johann via YouTube, providing a lot of background information.

He leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter

Family and friends gathered in the park where the 28-year-old often trained to mourn together. They brought flowers and released balloons for him. The hip-hop band also publicly expressed their sympathy for the accident.
