Composer of endgame studies in chess

One of the most well-known Finnish composers, born in Pietari, who lived in Helsinki and served as an accountant

Gunst was named international judge in the year of his death and several of his works appear in the first albums of the FIDE.

 He was International Judge of the FIDE for chess compositions since 1957.
