He was known far beyond the country's borders and was very popular as a photo model. His beauty was striking.He was born on a Monday and also died in the mountains on a Monday. 

Death  After a tragic mountain accident on the Untersberg, he died at the age of 34. During a mountain tour on Whit Monday, he fell 150 meters at "MIttagsloch". The next day his body was discovered by other climbers. Due to the weather conditions, rescue was only possible on Wednesday morning.

To this day Matthias Streitwieser remains unforgotten by many, many people. He was very humble, personable, calm, positive and in a good mood. And made plans to travel to distant lands. His mother was Greek. His father from Israel.
