Vincent Lanius Eaton (* 31.08.1915 - † 16.03.1962) American chess composer

Vincent Eaton was a child prodigy who graduated from Harvard at the age of 18. From 1939 to 1941 he was the chess problem editor of "Chess Review". He published more than 1000 chess problems, mostly direct mates in three. He was an International Judge.
