RIPS BORIS DAVIDOVITCH, 1925, Riga. Remained in Nazi vs occupation, passed through ghetto and cone, camp "Kaiserwald", in Dec. 1944 liberat. from cone. camp. Shtuthof, was mobiliz. in 76 Gu Rifle div., from there with marching company directed to Rifle reg. 1 Byelor. front in Germany, ended war in Rostok. After the war worked in Riga at factory "Kosmos".Entered in Leningr. Polytech. Inst. at median, machine building faculty, afterwards transferred to Riga Polytechn. Inst., graduated in 1959, worked as chief of mechanic branch at factory "Mara" and "Sarkana Zvaigzne" till 1980, when with his family departed to Israel , where lives today. Brother ISAAK also veter. of the war, died in Germany. [pic]
