Dr. Brigitte Röhrig (born around 1965/1966 – died on January 22, 2026, at the age of 60)

German lawyer (Rechtsanwältin), one of the leading experts in German and European pharmaceutical law (Arzneimittelrecht) for more than 30 years.

She was thoroughly specialized in drug approval procedures, European regulation (EMA, European Commission), medical devices, food law, and cosmetics regulation. She was rightly regarded as one of the top experts in this field while being inconvenient to the interests of the pharmaceutical industry.

She earned her doctorate in 2007 with a dissertation on the new EU drug approval procedures.

In 1998 she published the handbook “Handbuch der EU-Zulassung”.

In 2009 – the English-language guide “Guide to Drug Regulatory Affairs”.

More than 100 publications, regular authored series in the journal pharmind.

She conducted seminars for lawyers, pharmaceutical companies, and regulators.

She maintained a law practice in the small village of Isert near Altenkirchen (Rhineland-Palatinate).

By continuing to expose various levels of officials and politicians for abuse of power, she became widely known in recent years as a courageous critic of official health policy during the Covid-19 pandemic. She represented clients in court cases against mandatory vaccination, analyzed decisions of regulatory institutions that restricted human rights, and in 2023 published the book

“Die Corona-Verschwörung: wie Milliardäre, Politiker und Staatsdiener wissentlich und willentlich Freiheit und Gesundheit ausradierten” (Westend Verlag), compiling documented facts about possible violations and deliberate systemic errors. The book is considered one of the most significant works in the legally and factually argued alternative and critical assessment of the comprehensive human rights violations during the pandemic.

Through her works, Dr. Röhrig had rightfully earned authority in independent thinking and legal precision and became a symbolic example for those seeking an alternative view on the sometimes hysterical measures of the pandemic period.

Her sudden death in January 2026 caused widespread resonance in social networks and independent, freedom-respecting media, while central, power-dependent media contain almost no mentions of her and her professional activities. The media rarely covered her professional appearances and successes in court proceedings representing individuals.

She will be remembered as a lawyer who consistently stood against corruption in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, was unafraid to ask uncomfortable questions, and defended principles to the end.

Dr. Röhrig leaves behind a 29-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old granddaughter, whom she loved deeply and for whom she dedicated part of her work.

Rest in Peace.
