Franco Aparicio & his Father Luciano Aparicio: Franco earned a trip to the Developmental Camp by placing fourth in the intermediate division at Eastern Sectionals. He followed an older sister onto the ice and was said to be a very quiet, hardworking skater whose face would light up with the warmest smile whenever he was on the ice. Franco was traveling home from the camp with his father Luciano who had the most wonderful Italian accent. His father who had extensive work experience in the energy industry was a highly educated man. A devoted husband to his wife & diligent father to his 2 daughters and son. Franco was coached by Inna Volyanskaya. He was apart of the Washington Figure Skating Club.
