NADEL SHILEM BORUHOVITCH, 27.07.1924, Preili. Fought in 57 Guard. Sapper Batt-n 43 Gu. Lat. Rifle div. near Star. Russa, Nasva-Novosokolniki (there wounded), and take part in liberation of Latvia. Decorated with Orders of Red Star, Patriotic War I Degr. and Battle Medals. Was transferred to Siberia till 1956. After war lived and worked in Preili, later in Riga. Since 1983 lives in Israel. 50 members of his family perished in ghetto.
