"If She Says 'Yes'... I Don't Say 'No'!" is a French comedy directed by Claude Vital, released in 1983.
Plot
Catherine Charmel, known as Minouche, works as a freelance journalist for a sensational weekly magazine. She is also the lover of a wealthy and frequently traveling American businessman, Nick, whom she truly loves. While staying with Nick at a countryside hotel on the outskirts of Deauville, Marcel Thiebault suddenly appears—a marketing specialist and employee of Carniato, known as the king of frozen pizza. He insists that Catherine give him her room—number 12. However, Nick dislikes this request, and Marcel ends up in the hotel pool.
Minouche has a peculiar trait—she cannot sleep alone at night. This causes her to be constantly angry and argue with Nick, whose unexpected business trips take him around the world, meaning he cannot spend nights at home with Minouche. Marcel, on the other hand, has persistent suicidal tendencies, forcing his three friends to rescue him repeatedly.
Later in Paris, Catherine meets Marcel again and writes an article about a sad and suicidal millionaire. Meanwhile, Carniato is on the brink of bankruptcy, and the company's owner hands over his apartment to Marcel so that he can seduce Catherine and obtain... seven million.
The plot also involves Catherine's brother, who volunteers at the organization "SOS Depression", and Marcel's Eurasian daughter. In the end, everything turns out well.
