A gunman opened fire Friday in the Les Moulins area near Nice, France, killing two people and wounding five others.

Police have launched a full investigation and are working to determine the motive and identify the assailant. Security forces remain on high alert as the probe continues.

Une incursion sur fond de narco-banditisme a entraîné des tirs à l’arme automatique. Selon les premiers éléments, deux personnes seraient décédées et plusieurs autres blessées.
