Marianne de Trey CBE (3 November 1913 – 18 October 2016) was a pioneering British studio potter whose work had a significant impact on the craft's post World War ll revival.
De Trey was born in London to Swiss parents, Emma (née Lehmann) and Auguste de Trey. She graduated from the Royal College of Art London in 1936.
A founder member of the Craft Potters Association, she ran a successful pottery at Dartington in Devon for more than 30 years. She was made a CBE for services to the arts in the 2006 New Year Honours.
