BARON IOSIF SOLOMONOVITCH, 02.04.1914, Daugavpils; medical faculty, Univ. in Italy, since 1939 doctor in Riga; Sen. Doctor 191/125 GU Rifle reg. 201/43 GU Lat. Rifle div., then surgeon in SMSB # 50 and in evacuation hospital; awarded. After the war - the 4th city hospital in Riga; left for Israel, then to Germany where he died 12.02.1996. His brother ABRAM perished in Spain during the war. (Read the list "Spaniards").
