Jerzy Semkow (born October 12, 1928 in Radomsko Poland, died 23 December 2014, near Lausanne, Switzerland ) was a Polish conductor. He served as music director of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, principal conductor of the Royal Danish Opera and the Royal Danish Orchestra in Copenhagen, Music Advisor and Principal Conductor of the Rochester Philharmonic, Music Director of the Orchestra of Radio-Televisione Italiana (RAI) in Rome, and Artistic Director of the National Opera in Warsaw.
He lectured on music at the University of Colorado and conducted master classes at Yale University and New York's Manhattan School of Music.
He was a French citizen and resided in Paris.
