The Swiss chess composer Elios Camponovo (7.9.1909-3.4.1967) headed the chess problems section of the Zurich newspaper Die Tat. He seems to have published most of his chess problems in Switzerland. Whether he was also a permanent contributor to the SSZ is not clear to me, as the corresponding reference to E. Camponovo in the SSZ 1945 could also refer to his brother Ezio; both were active both as party players and as problem composers - however, the Swiss anthology Kunstwerke auf 64 Feldern only quotes chess problems by Elios, who died half a century ago.
