Edward Boswell (14-10-1899 - 22-03-1960) British chess composer
Edward Boswell was a specialist of selfmates and the president of the BCPS (British Chess Problem Society) from 1958 until 1960.
He was an International Judge.
Die Schwalbe (magazine for chess composing), Issue 242, April 2010 wrote about him:
"The British problemist and former president of our English sister society Edward Boswell (14 October 1899 - 22 March 1960) died 50 years ago. He was a versatile and, with around 1300 composed problems, also a very productive composer, who devoted himself in particular to the Selbstmatt and was active in many ways as a judge and author."
