"Gustav Herbert Hultberg (27.1.1910-16.5.1995) was very productive as a composer and publicist. He published about 2300 problems, published a series of articles on logical and strategic problems in Schackvärlden between 1941 and 1943 and later a series of books, most of which were published by Walter Jörgensen. He founded the problem magazine springaren and also edited it from 1947 to 1961."
