Creassey Edward Cecil Tattersall (England, *  Friday 07.09.1877 - † Saturday 26.10.1957)

Strong chess player and chess composer                                                                                                                      Tattersall was a strong chess player.                                                                                                                                          He gave up chess to become an expert on oriental and British carpets and a curator at the Victoria and Albert museum on Kensington. In 1910, he wrote "A Thousand Endgames, volume 1", the first English-language book dedicated to endgame studies only (volume II in 1911).

Others: 3 endgame studies composed by Tattersall are selected on the Dutch Website arves.org and can be replayed.
