Elinora Kabuce dzimusi Kalnienē 1903. gadā. 1949. gada 25. martā Elinora nelikumīgi administratīvi izsūtīta no “Indzeru” mājām nometinājumā uz Amūras apgabala Tigdas rajonu (PSRS). No nometinājuma atbrīvota 1956. gada 30. augustā un ar LR Iekšlietu ministrijas 1991. gada 23. jūnija rakstu Nr. 3/7-3569 pilnīgi reabilitēta.
