Sometimes all you need is a quick caffeine fix. Luckily there’s Tornis, a tiny kiosk serving exceptionally good Illy coffee, right in the city centre, by Vermanes garden park.

Tornis, unlike a plethora of other coffee spots in Riga, doesn’t ask for extra money if you choose alternative milk and in general here a cup of Joe is a bit cheaper than in brick-and-mortar coffee temples. The friendly baristas always have a few alternative milk varieties stocked. And don’t be deterred if there’s a line, these guys work fast!
