Valeriy Viktorovich Chybineyev ( Чибінєєв Валерій Вікторович; 3 March 1988 - 4 March 2022) was a Ukrainian paratrooper who served as commander of the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
Chybineyev was born 3 March 1988 in Berdiansk.
His father was a paratrooper. Chybineyev attended the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Sports Lyceum Zakhisnik before graduating from the Odessa Military Academy.
In 2010, he became a lieutenant and joined the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
In 2016, he became the commander of the 79th Air Assault Brigade and later received the Order of the Gold Star. Chybineyev was promoted to major.
His brother, Roman Chybineyev, the commander of an platoon within the 79th Brigade, died in 2019.
Chybineyev died on 4 March 2022 during the Battle of Antonov Airport.
