Frederick E. Gamage (21-11-1882 - 24-12-1956) American chess composer

Frederick Gamage was specialized in two and three-movers (chess problems) and was one of the precursors of the American chess composition.

His name was given to a problem topic. Gamage theme: White can directly unpin a black piece because Black has just interfered with it.
