@OliLondonTV Subscribe   This was Maayan Idan. She was just 18 years old. The high school student was a talented volleyball player, loved to read, play sports and spend time with her siblings. On October 7th, just 4 days after her 18th birthday, H*mas stormed her home in Kibbutz Nahal Oz. As she hid in the safe room with her terrified family she was shot through the door. At her funeral her family played her favorite song, ‘Father and Son’ by Cat Stevens. Speaking at her funeral, her heartbroken mother Gali said she was “shattered into pieces… now you will stay 18 forever, 18 and 4 days. Beautiful, in the brown dress you wore for your birthday, with your abundant curls. I don’t know how they can murder a unique and rare unicorn like you, Maayani.” Source: Times of Israel
