LTV: Publicist Lato Lapsa detained on suspicion of data breaches
The State Police have detained journalist Lato Lapsa, a columnist previously convicted of harassment and defamation, according to information available to Latvian Television (LTV).
On Thursday, January 30, the State Police detained a person on suspicion of violating the ban on reproduction of a criminal case and distribution of its content, illegal activities with personal data, money laundering, and defamation.
LTV has information that the detained person is the investigative journalist and author Lato Lapsa. LTV was unable to contact Lapsa because his phone was switched off.
